PE and Sport Premium Info
Statement on the use of PE and Sport Premium
The government is providing funding of approximately £150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education and sport in primary schools. This funding is being provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture and Media and Sport and will be allocated to primary school headteachers. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.
At Lordship Farm we have used this money to:
- Replace and improve our sports equipment
- Improve our outdoor facilities e.g. provide an astroturf sports pitch
- Pay for NHSSP membership
- Provide activity days and sessions for the children to give them sporting experiences, e.g. Yr6 and KS1 sports legacy events
- Employ a sports assistant to enhance sports provision in school
